The GH system treats radioactive waste gases from the primary cooling system and the cover gases of the NPP tanks.
Replacement of old compressors with modernised units from the same manufacturer, but with improvements.
Advantages of the new design:
Eliminated gearbox and fan (less space, reduced technical problems).
20% lower flow at 50 Hz without VFD, so VFD is crucial to maintain performance.
The new model (AL623C) is from the same manufacturer (NASH), but without the variable speed drive (60 Hz) which caused overheating problems.
Aim: To provide the same performance as the existing units but with a more reliable design.
Manufacture of electrical cabinets:
- installation of connection, protection and measurement equipment
- resistant to external influences, containing quality components
- layout and ductwork, wiring and component marking
- testing and certification in accordance with the norms.
- Replacement of the two SW trash rakes,
- Rehabilitation of the structures in the lower parts of the machines (SW inlet channels),
- Replacement of the upper parts of the machines and electrical cabinets.
- Installation and maintenance of industrial container facilities,
- electrical installation work,
- HVAC equipment and installations,
- maintenance.
The existing NPP Krško lightning protection system was not sufficient to protect against lightning up to 400 kA.
