• SSPS ensures automatic reactor shutdown when thresholds are exceeded, activation of safety systems (ESF), and display of permits and bistable signals to the operator,
• MASTER relays power SLAVE relays, which control process equipment (pumps, valves, motors),
• SLAVE relays of type AR are available with or without latching (ARLA); latching models maintain their state without power and require a reset coil.

The GH system treats radioactive waste gases from the primary cooling system and the cover gases of the NPP tanks.

Replacement of old compressors with modernised units from the same manufacturer, but with improvements.

Advantages of the new design:

Eliminated gearbox and fan (less space, reduced technical problems).
20% lower flow at 50 Hz without VFD, so VFD is crucial to maintain performance.

The new model (AL623C) is from the same manufacturer (NASH), but without the variable speed drive (60 Hz) which caused overheating problems.

Aim: To provide the same performance as the existing units but with a more reliable design.

• Providing WiFi coverage in the NPP Krško technologic area for access to applications,
• providing a power source in the event of a single power failure, which is crucial during an outage when multiple power switches are performed.

• Complete modernisation of NPP Krško's technical protection systems,
• upgraded power supply systems, alarm response centres, security management systems, video surveillance system, PLC subsystem, etc.

• Replacement of NPP Krško's seismic system, all associated cabling and refurbishment of 11 measurement sites,
• six additional sites in the new buildings BB1, BB2, DSB and the existing buildings IB100 and AB82, for a total of 17 measuring sites,
• replacement of the seismic container, construction of the borehole for the depth sensor and civil works to set up the seismic instrumentation infrastructure.

• Built for operational support in the event of an accident or emergency at NEK,
• fabrication and installation of conduit supports, cable laying, installation of electrical equipment (lighting, fire and communication systems), installation work on the power supply section,
• all necessary tests and measurements were carried out.

• Construction of three water boreholes within the diaphragm wall of the NI, three distribution pipelines and a cable duct with four PEHD pipes to the pre-treatment building,
• repositioning and upgrade of some control points and construction of flood embankments and sealing diaphragms in the reservoir areas due to the rise of the Sava level,
• changes in the impact of groundwater on the underground parts of the NPP Krško facilities, with no impact on the maximum measured levels outside the NPP Krško sealing diaphragm, which were already at high levels.

• Installation of ECR instrumentation and rewiring of safety components for safe shutdown of the plant (valves for cooling system, chemical composition, volume, heat rejection, safety injection, containment scrubbing),
• establishment of a fully operational auxiliary control room.

• Phase 1 (2010): replacement of G2 busbars, support isolators and gantries.
• Phase 2 (2012-2013): Replacement of the remaining busbars, relocation of the HV-apparatus metering field in RTP Krško and relocation of the Q15 and Q16 earthing conductors.
• Phase 3 (2013): Replacement of G1 busbars and insulators in AC03 and AC04, relocation of AC07 metering field in CA13 and replacement of Q16, Q26, Q15 and Q25 earths.
• Phase 4 (2015): Renovation of the captive power system, renovation of the lighting system in the switching station, replacement of the power system in the SAH with a diesel genset and UPS, and installation of an alternative power supply system for the RC1 and RC2 computer centres.
